L/Corporal 3555 AUSTIN FRANK BROUGHTON, "W" Coy. 1st Bn. Northumberland Fusiliers Killed in action on 16th June 1915 at the 1st Battle of Bellewaarde, he was 19 years old. The 2nd Son of William Charles and Ellen Ellen Broughton, of 9, Rosebery Avenue, Gloucester. Austin has no known grave but is remembered at the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium Panel 8 and 12.
